How did this happen?!!! I won't go so far as to say we're birdwatchers.
Birds are everywhere in our neck of the woods. According to the National Park Service,
there are roughly 300 species of birds in the Olympic National Park. An online map tells me our home is two miles from the National Forest. That's five minutes away as the crow flies.
